5 Days Tanzania Mid-Range Safari Day By Day itinerary
Today get to meet with our team at Kilimanjaro airport while we transfer you to your accommodation at Arusha Town .Located below Mount Meru on the eastern edge of the eastern branch of the Great Rift Valley, Arusha City has a temperate climate. The city is close to Serengeti National Park, the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, Lake Manyara National Park, Olduvai Gorge, Tarangire National Park, Mount Kilimanjaro, and Mount Meru in the Arusha National Park.

You will be picked up at your hotel at 0700hrs and transferred to Tarangire National Park for your game viewing experience in this magnificent park which is famous for its large collection of baobab trees, spectacular large mammal population, and variety of bird species, not to mention one of the largest concentration of elephants in the country.

After breakfast we will head towards the Serengeti National Park, leaving the highlands behind, we descend into the heart of wild Africa – the Serengeti National – with its endless plains, rolling into the distance as far as the eye can see. We head to the Seronera area, one of the richest wildlife habitats in the park, featuring the Seronera River, which provides a valuable water source to this area and therefore attracts wildlife well representative of most of the Serengeti’s species. We enjoy a game drive en route to the lodge.

A full day of exploration in the Serengeti’s Seronera region unfolds with the first light, offering a glimpse into the active lives of predators and diverse wildlife amid the breathtaking Serengeti scenery. Pause midday for a picnic lunch, surrounded by the sights and sounds of the wild. The afternoon brings visits to the famed hippo pools, quests for elusive black rhinos, and the potential to witness segments of the Great Migration, depending on the season. As the day wanes, a late afternoon game drive captures the Serengeti’s beauty during the golden hour, culminating in a mesmerizing sunset. Start the day with an early game drive for a chance to witness a spectacular sunrise and active wildlife. After, return to camp for a hearty brunch. Then, we’ll journey to Ngorongoro, known as the 8th Wonder of the Natural World. The crater, a virtual Noah’s ark, spans 102 sq miles and boasts 2,000 ft high walls. It’s a haven for indigenous East African wildlife, including the rare black rhino. The diversity of African wildlife here is unparalleled, with a river, swamps, soda lake teeming with flamingos, forests, and open plains. Notably, it’s home to the largest elephants in the world, thanks to the rich volcanic soil and lush grasses.

We’ll kickstart the day bright and early, descending into the captivating crater floor for a remarkable wildlife experience in one of Earth’s most breathtaking locations. Following an exciting game drive, we’ll savor a delightful picnic lunch near the serene Hippo Lake. Afterward, we’ll enjoy a brief game drive before ascending the crater and exiting the Ngorongoro Conservation Area en route to Arusha. Our estimated return time is around 5 pm, but we remain flexible to accommodate any flight schedules or unforeseen circumstances.
